Will pray for success with this new treatment and that you won't have any major side effects from it. Keep your chin up.... along with your big girl panties!!! Hugs from N.J.

Hi Peggy,
So sorry to read the chemo didn't do 'its thing' That really is a bummer! Have been and will continue to pray for you. Chemo can be tough some times and each has its own side effects which isn't the same for everyone. May the side effects of this drug be minimal and may it work!!!!.
The hair is tough to loose but,as men say, it isn't everything and wigs and hats keep the head warmer! Mine has thinned so much that I wear a hat much of the time just to keep warm and help the raynauds. (My husband and kids say that I still don;t need the wig but I'm not so sure) Fortunately, living in the north, folks all wear hats and there are many cute ones out there now so I don't look funny. Maybe you can find some fun/cute ones to wear. The oncology unit may have some hats knitted by folks, for chemo folks. They are usually well knitted and nice....even for sleeping in!
You have such a wonderful outlook and humor. You write it wonderfully and upbeat....an encouragement to others going through a tough time.
So, hang in there and know there are many folks thinking and praying for you.
