My blood pressure has always been on the high side. I did manage to get it down to about 120 over 80 for the last year. Inthe last month it has now changed to 99 over 60. I had alot of blood in my urine for a couple of days. I did have a bladder infection and am waiting for the last urine test results to see if it has finally cleared up. I also feel kind of dizzy. I have a strange lump on my mid back. I can feel it when I lean up against something but it cant be felt by touching my back. Something is going on but cant pinpoint what it is. Next week I have an appointment with Janet Pope a sclero specialist from London Ontario. My sclero specialist in Toronto set this appointment up for me. The next day I see my regular sclero specialist. Surely someone will figure it out.

you need to get in and see a doc....now.....and then get on some sort of treatment...ie cytoxan or antibiotic or whatever the doc's come up with ....

Quick blood tests and urinalysis can tell anyone if something is going on with the kidneys. Rapid increase of 20 pts in blood pressure is another indicator. There are also a few typical physical symptoms of kidney issues.
If you have any warranted concern over your kidneys, as Steve said, go see a doctor immediately. Here in the U.S. if I were you, I wouldn't go to the ER, but if I couldn't get into see a Urologist, my family doc, Rheumy, or OB/GYN, etc., I'd get into the urgent care. Early detection and treatment of kidney problems is critical

I have recently had the blood test, in which my kidney enzymes were "norm" tomorrow, I do a 24 hour urine collect for testing (my primary is doing these)... For those of us with diffuse SD, these tests become the "norm" or a regular part of watching ourselves....
I hope you seek some answers asap! Nancy~
