Day 7 and I am sitting here with my last i.v hooked up! Today has been rough.....Herxing pretty bad today. Spent most of day in bed in tears from the pain in my joints. I know that this is a sign that the treatment is working. So now would be a great time for some of your wonderful support, cause I hurt so much right now was difficult to follow through with my last i.v. wanted to just skip it. But I didnt its running through my veins now. Every joint hurts, even joints that I didnt know I had. Trying to type this with curled fingers is not easy. So this will be ending now. lol
thank you in advance for the support that is so greatly needed right now.

Hey Terri hang in there! I never had the IVs but it sounds like things are just happening at an accelerated rate compared to my pill only regimen. How long do you have before the next series of IV? I think like you said it just means things are working. We do not get sick overnight so unfortunately we don't get better overnight. Again hang in there.

Terri,
Good job getting through your 1st cycle. I just finished #17 Friday. I herxed pretty bad yesterday and even worse today. My herxes don't sound as bad as yours, and my protocol is different. I am doing clindy cycles of 1200 mg for 5 days. I'm sure I would be a basket case if I was going twice a day like you! Do not be surprised or discourged if you herx for up to 4 days after this cycle. Remember, you are blasting the bastards and they are dying off and these toxins are going right into your joints. Drink lots of water to help get rid of them. Some folks also use metamucil or citracel to help move the toxins through your system.
Please tell me you are on a LOT of probiotics. I double my probiotics during IVs. On the RBFBB, I posted the question if you can take too much probiotics. I received some very knowledgeable responders who stated that you can not take too much probiotics. I had NO diareah this cycle, NONE! That is significant to me. ;D
You are on your way to beating SD!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful support. Its 3am here and I am awake in severe joint pain. And surprisingly a really bad sore throat.
Randy can you give me more info on probiotics? Perhaps a link to info and where to get it and what its benefits are.
Hugsss Terri

Congratulations Terri on finishing your first round of I.V.'s. Hang in there. It does get better. I am doing my I.V.'s this week. I still herx as well but it has gotten less severe. You're doing awesome and the good news is with herxing is that AP is doing what it is supposed to do. Try and rest and do a lot of detox (lemon/olive oil drinks are good).

Terri,
I am sorry that you are suffering, but I am confident that you will someday look back on these days of misery with a great sense of accomplishment, like when a mountain climber keeps climbing wven though their blisters are bleeding and their muscles are screaming at them to stop. You will reach the top of this mountain. This aggressive IV AP treatment will give you your best chance at recovery. You will get there. Keep doing all you can to detox and get those dead bugs flowing out of your system.
Hang in there!
Cheryl

TERRI: I am soooo glad you are doing the AP. I know it seems rough now, but as Cheryl and others said above, HANG IN THERE! THIS IS THE ROAD TO RECOVERY!!!
