and it was good...the Doc was happy with my pft and all that...no change on it...so...I'm really stable on the SD side...but the diabete's is causing me some foot pains...so..gotta go see my podiatrist and have her check my feet out...
blood work was good....next is the echo cardiogram in october...
he was really happy that i'd made it this long and that everything was stable...but the reynauds in my right hand is driving me crazy...still causing some difficulty in 3 fingers....
other than that...everything is good!!..
hope you all are doing well and enjoying the summer...

Steve, really glad that the sd is stable- we always need as much good news as we can get! Good luck with the foot issue- hope it's not a big deal.
I, too, have raynauds issues- even under the best of circumstances I suffer. It's a condition that I have to deal with all 12 months of the year- not just in the cold weather. Hang in there!- Adriane

I know you all know about the Hothands handwarmers. I even use them in Florida in the summer, esp. since every building here is like an ice box. Walmart carries Hothands here winter only @ 1.25 for 4, or .3125 each. I find them on Ebay @ 80 for $29, or .3625 ea. I guess you all know about the gloves/mittens made to hold the packets. I'm glad you're doing well, Steve.

HI Steve,
Great news about the PFT and a happy Rhummy visit. Keep up the good work!
What's going on with your (diabetes) feet?

Deanna...we get them from costco by the cases.....each case is only about 15 bucks.....
Randy...thanks buddy....doing ok on the diabetes but I'm not sure if my feet problems are from crappy shoes or diabetes.....going to my podiatrist in a few weeks for a checkup...will let you know how it goes..

Glad your report was good overall. Raynauds and foot problems drive me crazy too. Hope the foot problems are not related to the diabetes. My hands really hate dampness of any kind. Is it harder for your hands out on your boat? Not that that would stop me if I had a boat like yours and the lovely surroundings to go with it.
Take care.

anyway...nothing stops me from doing what I want and love to do....espeically since I'm still on the boat doing it!!...haha...

Great attitude. I try to do the same. Some days harder than others. Unfortunately I am now off to have an MRI. God I hate those things. I never knew how many parts of my body itched until I got under an MRI machine.
