All if you get a chance just wanted everyone to see my webpage for the Scleroderma Walk here in Poughkeepsie, New York this Saturday - I figured I could try and do something to raise awareness here at home on our disease - Hope this find all of you doing well. Never, Never, Never, never quit! Antonietta Chiocchi www.firstgiving.com/antoniettachiocchi

Good luck to you and have fun! I just did a walk (on June 1st) in Leonia, NJ and it was wonderful! I've come to know many of the people who organize and/or participate in the walk each year and I love them!! It truly is an uplifting experience!! Have a great day!- Adriane

Good luck with the walk Antonietta. Hope you have a nice day and a good turn out.
Adriane - this may be a silly question but did you meet anyone else with SD there? I would guess yes but I am curious. Have you met anyone else with SD previous to the walk?

Jeff, yes I have met many others with sd thru my participation in the walks. It's so interesting to me- we can all be together and are SO TOTALLY different in our presentations of this disease!! I did not know any others who had the disease prior to my being connected to these people. - Adriane

Thanks everyone! The walk was great! I finished the whole thing along with my daughter, sister, niece & my daughter's mother-in-law. It was my first time and we managed to raise $1,739.00, just from our small team they had teams of 10-15 people - one young man raised $11,000 (his mom passed 2 years ago so he walk in her hnor). Looking so foward to participating next year. There were 105 people who walked this particular one. I am awaiting for pics will post at a later date.
