Just a heads up, my wife got me new slippers from LL Bean for Christmas. They are Polar Fleece with a soft sole but are higher like a boot so they cover the ankle and then some. Similar to an UGG boot. They really make a big difference warmth wise. Very cozy.

Nice, Jeff. I know when my feet are warm, I am generally on the way to being more comfortable. Also, being big LLBean customers, my husband and I got what we call 'cabin shirts', a very warm and cozy fleece lined plaid shirt. He also just got fleece-lined jeans from there and cannot believe how much better he feels outside!
Enjoy those warm tootsies!

I went with the flannel lined jeans from Beans. I have one pair of the fleece lined but they are too warm for me unless it is really cold. I purchased the flannel ones back when my SD kicked in. They really make a difference. Stay warm it appears that you have sent your cold weather my way. looking cold for the next week or better.

Oops. My husband has the flannel-lined ones. He had them on tonight when we were walking and said he didn't get cold at all. Will check some out for me, although I do stay quite comfortable with my Cuddl Duds.
Temps in the mid 20's here in Chicago. I guess it's reasonable to expect colder weather in the Midwest in December...

Got two pair flannel pants from LLBEANE. Both same size but one is much larger than other due to style. I should have sent them back last yr but didn't. Really warm and wear daily!

Stay warm during the snow storm. We barely got anything down here in South Jersey (2"), but north Jersey may have gotten more. I know it's heading your way, Jeff. Let us know how you make out.

MA coast sure has had their share of snow this winter. We are over 50 inches, I think closer to 60 inches in three weeks and no melting to speak of....and it is to snow one or two days this weekend. Had flurries today...right now... It is so cold too with temps in the single numbers. Sure glad for hand warmers and really warm mittens and hat though I don't go out much.
