I can not take the meds some of you can for it lowers blood pressure and mine is low to begin with.BUT oh these cold fingers! I use hand warmer from the time I eat breakfast to the time I am under the covers at night. They are in mittens as often as can be but then I can not do much...get meals, do dishes, fold laundry...you get the picture. I even tried wearing a hat inside but it did not help. Warm water does bring them back..even if very purple but I don't like them getting that far...and they can so very fast.
I know there has been discussion on this subject in the past, but maybe there are new ideas. Any ideas? Grammie

I do use insulated wrappers on jars in the refrig that I use often. My husband gets cold things out of refrig and freezer for me. My kids gave me a cover for glass when I go out...to cover the cool glass. I don't drink cool drinks for not want to have cool things that might trigger the fingers. Any ideas?

I guess have been lucky in that my Raynaud's has improved a bit. Not gone but better. The only thing I can suggest is the battery heated gloves or mittens. I use them a lot, because they are a source of heat not just insulation they work better for me. Once my hands get cold I can warm them back up usually. Just remembered another thing too. On the old board there was a woman who had received botox injections in here wrists and that helped her Raynaud's. I had not heard about that treatment before then but have run across references since. Maybe check that out.

Looked into the mittens and afraid they are out of my ballpark financially. You working outside, sure can see the advantage. My daughter was just diagnosed with raynauds. Guess what she is getting for Christmas? A box of hand warmers!
Happy and blessed thanksgiving everyone! Grammie

I looked for them at Bass Pro a few weeks ago and they were gone. I ran out of toe warmers for my snowbaord mittens. They probably have them for mail order or if you are near the store in Hookset they may have an order online and pick up at the store program. I am not sure how close you are to Hookset NH. Still cold here too. Wore the heated gloves at work this morning.

HEY GANG!!!!! JUST A LITTLE LOVE NOTE TO SAY HI!!! I AM DOING WELL, OTHER THAN A FEW LITTLE THINGS ALONG THE WAY. Currently, I am anemic again and really hoping I am not bleeding internally as I am in no mood for another endoscopy and colonoscopy. Other than that, all is well. I am still on 1 Minocin, 100 mg, every other day. Oh, and I now am on blood pressure meds. Wow, could I be more boring?

Hi cubby! Wondered where you had gone. Do hope things get on the upswing soon. I have managed to return from a wonderful trip visiting daughters and family to only once again returned to pneumonia. Getting pulmonary to check more closely for SD since had it in December as well. Take a trip and block off a week on return for illness. Oh joy! Grammie
