You all know I do smoothies, I have two Nutribullet and a Vitamix. My page on facebook is called Nutribullet Blasters, come on, drink some smoothies ;-). they are easy..I often add herbs and spices to cut back on inflamation The page has over 5000 members and is growing! Its an adventure! NHNancy...

Do you know Linda or Dr. Khanna? Linda has been a friend of mine for years, and though she is a dietician, we do have fun when we meet for lunch! Dr. Khanna is the head of the scleroderma program at U of M where I see his associate.

Hi Christel, no I dont know them, I am way up here in NH! I liked what that page had to say though, these changes have to be gradual, as our bodies adjust to new eating habits...Its hard to stop eating gluten all at one! Also to stop all processed foods, as having a hot dog or an iced cream is really fun! I love having fun, I really put an emphasis on it, ya know! :-)

Good for you both to eat better. I am to put on weight which is difficult for me. I have been encouraged to eat high calorie food including ice cream and chips. Difficult for someone who was on weight watchers for ten yrs! Good for you!

Grammie, you can gain weight eating healthy! Rather than eating unhealthy fats, opt for healthy fat, avocado...they are high in calories! Though icecream is certainly funner, ha!

Hi grammie...I love my Vitamix. BUT....ITS PRICEY,! So, once I was sure that smoothies were going to be a permanent thing in my life, then I upgraded from the nutribullet. The Nutribullet can be bought with a good discounts at a Kohls with a 30% discount...scratchy or postcard, or at Bed bath and beyond with their 20% email sign up thongy Hope this helps! :-)
