Nancy, Are you taking aspirin, by any chance? Something so minor as a baby aspirin can increase bruising. Christel

Hi Christel, no, cant take nsaids, due to the watermellon stomach. I pointed them out to my primary but she didnt seem concerned,
I have read about others with SD having issues like this also. This is the only SD forum I belong to, for feedback from experiences Nancy..:-)

I have not had that issue Nancy. The fact that you get them after swimming is interesting. How long do they take to go away and how large are they?

I have morphea which is scleroderma in the skin only. From what I understand anyway. My skin is full of bruised looking spots. Mine never go away so im not sure its the same you have. My doctor told me it was indication those spots have burned out. ?? Not sure if this helps or not. Sharon
