Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some changes, since I have added more therapeutic fruit and veggie, nuts, seeds smoothies. I am also eating about 85% less processed foods. My C-reactive proteins have dramatically decreased...Mt doctor is very amazed. I am still on mino twice daily, so I am not sure, what exactly to attribute it to. CRP is the bodies response to injury or infection...I see a local rheumy on the 24th I will discuss this with her then! Boohiiss, my LDL Is a bit elevated, totally my fault, I eat too much egg foo young..and I am not getting enough exercise! , Nancy

Great results - bottom line - How have you been feeling on your program? What changes have you noticed day to day. I try to watch what I eat etc. but have not gone on anything too involved. Always curious about different diets.

Hi Guys, Here is an interesting link preventdisease.com/news/13/030713_Scientists-Officially-Link-Processed-Foods-To-Autoimmune-Disease.shtmlI have switched my household salt to pink himalayan, I have made many other changes in my diets tho its extremely difficult or impossible to omit all processed foods, and still be sane! . (debatable) I do notice overall skin softening, less red blotchiness. My feet aren't so good, I have lost most of my footpads, and also hands are the same. I have trouble walking any distance now. Nails on both are extremely brittle, cant grow them at all. I still don't have much energy. I talked it over with my PCP, and I will be adding a Magnesium supplement, to combat loss of the same due to NEXIUM low mag. side effects. I am in my second year of the Mino. I hope to get some energy back. My gut, intestine.....stuff etc. ;D..is better..taking probiotics of course but also greatly reduced most dairy products. Its a lot I know and takes. time. On it goes, the battle and the hope. Any feedback anyone here is greatly appreciated. On the upside, I bought a (new to me car). I got a 2012, subaru forester, I love it! Hubby is doing well, working second shift, is weird but beats not working. Much LOVE to all...missin Steve's humor...in this Zoo! Nancy. ...... scuse the typos, using the ipad mini

Glad the diet is agreeing with you. I think we all have to be somewhat open to trying new things to control SD. Never know until you try right?

HI Nancy, Glad it has been working for you and you feel better. I have discovered that I have low energy because I haven't exercised enough! The more I do....and the tired I get....the more energy I seem to gain!
Glad "life is good" for you and hubby! That is grand news too.
I can't seem to put on weight. Finally went to a nutritionist and got some input. I'll find out tomorrow if it is really working or not. However, when I asked about a juicer for the smoothies, she told me a blender works jusst as well. There went my ability to buy one....husband heard it too ..... so blender it is!
