After a postponment of a week I finally had my stress test this morning. Not too scary. As the cardio doc thought the extra heart beats went away during the test. According to my visit with him a few weeks back what I have is more dangerous to treat than not. Odd statement but I will pursue that when I see him for my post test visit. A local doc gave me the test here so I did not have to travel off island, I just have to go to the cape for an afternoon for my follow up visit. The local doc was forthcoming I thought and all went well. Hopefully it is one less thing to worry about.
On another subject my PT lady cut me loose today too - they have done what they can. The shoulder is much more stabilized than it was and I have a bunch of exercises to do on my own that I have been doing all along. It's up to me now. I will never have strength over my head again on the right side so I just have to adjust.

Aww sorry about your shoulder. I pulled my arm out of the socket about 10 years ago and its not very strong now. Maybe your extra heart beat isnt going to be an issue. Hope you get more answers on your follow up visit.

good news on the heart stuff, Jeff! Keep reminding yourself that this is normal when you get frustrated with the 'other stuff'!!

I guess it is all my new normal. Yuck. I am sort of hoping the the extra beats go away when things calm down a little. With the shoulder operation behind me and in a few weeks when work calms down maybe. A trip to Vt. for a few days would be nice too. All for my health you know.

Went to my follow up Doc visit this past Monday. Had the appointment with my PCP as my report had been forwarded to the cardio doc off island. So I don't have to go back to the cape to see the cardio doc. There was no sign of any heart problems other than the extra beats and they go away with exertion. I'm happy about that. I have also noticed that the episodes of extra beats are becoming less frequent. It would be nice if they go away totally. Maybe I'll get lucky.
On another note it has been very hot in the North East with four windless days here this past week. Very unusual for my area. Looks like the heat will break tomorrow. From what I see up where Grammy and nhnancy are they were close to 100. Stay cool up there.

Continued good health news to you, Jeff! We are supposed to great a break from the heat tomorrow also. Last night storms ripped through here with high winds, and lots of people lost power. We are in good shape, though. I am just trying to enjoy the warmth of the season as it goes by so fast! C.

After my post yesterday I was wondering about Grammie too. She has been absent for a bit. Could you call her and let us know if all is OK?
From what I see on the weather it looks like you guys are all set with the heat for a while. As of right now the front is just coming through here, the SW wind has died but it is cloudy and rainy.
PS - just went upstairs it is pouring here.

Hi Jeff, Glad you were able to get PT and get some strength back in the shoulder and good news about the heart.
I've been off for over a month for away two weeks (no more VT for us...hit off summer season again and it was the last week in June!), and hubby had some surgery....all is well. Then daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids arrived for the summer. Next our other daughter and hubby with five arrived for two days. Then our son-in-law got his second cochlear inplant. So it has been busy. Oh, and on top of all that, I couldn't find my pass word! Got that cleared up now. So it has been busy.
To stay cool, been in AC or at the water enjoying that. Water is now almost too warm to really enjoy it.
So it has been fun but busy.
