Thanks, Jeff. I just saw this article that you posted.
It is very interesting and mentions that Medicare started clamping down more in 2015. If you will recall, I had to appeal Medicare to get them to pay for treatment for the non-healing ulcer on my leg. At the time I was seeking approval, it was 2014, and I was told hyperbaric treatment was only approved for diabetes... Funny, too, how Michigan is one of the three states noted.
I am very familiar with The Villages Hospital in Florida as that is the community in which my dad used to live and was also a patient there. Small world, huh?
Our local hospital is currently building a chamber, too, although there are already a number of them in the not too far area. If the efficacy of this treatment is being challenged, I wonder why so many more are being set up.
Go figure!
