Hope this finds you all safe and warm. We have had snow fall for the past 24 hours which should end in the next couple of hours. Then the brutal cold returns. Winter in Michigan!! ❄️⛄️ Think I'll throw in a couple of sheets of the cookie dough ?? I prepped yesterday. Bread ?? sounds kind of nice, too! May as well tuck in and try to stay cozy! C.❤️

Most of New England is getting your storm today. Up 14" of new snow possible in some spots. It has changed to rain locally and will make quite a mess I think. The New Hampshire ladies a right in the middle of it again.

Just noticed the emojis I have been using--not what I meant to put there. I wanted to include pix of cookies and loaves of bread.. Oh well. (Bread didn't get on the agenda, today, after all.)
Super cold expected tonight and tomorrow. Stay safe and warm, all!

Hi all, the sun is shining, yep we got another foot! Lucily the temps are so cold it is light and airy...Ray stayed home, I cooked! and we watched a movie, Taken3, Liam Neison, love him! We are shoveled out, becuz, I am really starting to feel snow bound, cabin fever, trapped...Its about 7 degrees now, and I am sitting in the recliner in the sunshine, having a cuppa tea, (I am a huge tea drinker, salada, with milk and sugar! I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying sumpthin! :-))

Maybe I would like tea better if I added milk and sugar...hmmm. May need to try that!
I do know sitting in the sunshine, no matter what the temp is outside, is lovely!
Good ideas, Nancy!

OK, east coast friends--are you guys hanging on? How much more snow does one area really need, or want, for that matter?!
Take care, and stay safe out there.

We had rain down here on the island today. I drove back to the cape yesterday from northern Vt., snow all the way. Finally turned to rain on the cape. We are getting some melting which is welcome. The New Hampshire girls got wacked again.

hi guys!! Its chlostrophobic here the banks are so high! when hubby goes out to shovel the 15' x 3' walk to the cars...he has to throw the snow as high as his chest! Forget me, I cant shovel, the best thing is so far its all been powder, instead of heavy and wet! I think we have exceeded FIFTY INCHES over two weeks, I heard we are stuck into a pattern thing, ...El Neenyo? or sumpthin like that, so now when we get the roads clear, its off to the grocery store and focus on errands before the next time! Ha, on like 37. days until spring! :-). I took a couple of pics, lemme see if I can get them onto that photobucket ...:-)

Thanks for updates, Nancy and Jeff. I guess I'll just take my few inches every few days interspersed with bitter cold and wind and SHUT UP! Hope the worst is behind you, but one never knows!
Jeff, hope your generator wasn't needed!
Nancy, do you live in the country? Beautiful yard photos!
As usual, stay safe and warm!

Hi Christel, yes we live in the woods! I have neighbors, there are 6 beautiful home on a large culdesac wirth woods all around. Its quieter here than at the campground I have my traier at, that why I rarely slept there....cant hear traffic, or peoplemuch, it has its up sides and down sides. Beautiful, quiet, private and cut off and sometimes lonely. I am 6-8 miles in every direction from shopping/resturants. I went out today...its sunny and the roads are cleared, we had lunch and did some shopping! Nancy

Yes, nancy we do have a lot of snow! And understand due for more! And our snow blower bit the dust on Mondays storm! We have been blessed to find one, that is correct, just one snow blower in brentonwoods at a dealer. Needles to say it is now ours even at that price, which actually is the same price we saw at lots of stores...if they had one! Grammie

OK, Jeff. Yet another check of you and your area as a word of high winds in Nantucket Island make the news! There are plenty of areas that could claim the 'bad weather' designation, so we thought of you when that was mentioned. If able, let us know how you guys are doing!
