Thank you Adriane! Its been about a year that I stopped eating beef and dairy. Then in December I just couldn't eat Chocolate the smell gets me sick. I got sick after I ate it maybe something with me and the meds. I got tired of getting sick so I stopped eating every thing that made me sick and I actually feel so much better. Yeah I'm going to try the digestive enzymes Christine recommended see if that helps me. That's the only thing that bothers me. This may sound silly but my Dr told me to raise the head of the bed 8 inches so my husband put 2 car jack stands under our huge bed and it helps! LOL! Dr is concerned that we can choke and the acid can get into out lungs cooks them and then we have pulmonary fibrosis.

Hi Beebel; You really should give them a try.Once you are feeling better you will be doing just like me.I finally get to sit down about 22:00 and have a wee rest.Since I only finish supper around 21:00 I have a nice snack of gluten free crackers,1/4 pound of Brie or Camenbert and 2 cups of coffee about midnight.Sleep like a baby!

Hi Beebell; Is it not nice not to feel like you have morning sickness all the time? hehehe. Both my husband and me use them all the time.He is as healthy as a horse but at his age his stomack acid is bottoming out and if he has to do a lot of work bending over he would get reflux. No problem since starting enzymes.I do not know about your doctor but most of them have rather expensive supplements.I get mine at GNC ,240capsules for just under 34$

I have changed my diet and believe it has made a huge difference in my world. I have cut down on meats and upped the chix, fish & beans. I take probiotics & drink aloe which have made a world of difference in my digestion. My gastro dr. suggested I reduce my protein levels because they make the liver & pancrease secrete more enzymes & I'm having issues with both "parts" at the moment! I find the more vegetarian(ish) I eat the better I feel. The "fullness" isn't as much and the digestion seems to be so much easier. I am going to look into the enzymes. Anybody know if you can do both probiotics and enzymes? I'm going to ask about it when I see the dr. Monday & see what he thinks. Thanks for the info ... I've never heard of enzymes in capsule form. xo Michele

when I first got SD in 2k...I found I couldn't eat alot of different foods without it tearing me up...I'd sometimes double over with pain in the stomach.....it was really aweful...now I don't eat as much red meat as I used too...I eat more salads...(I'm a carnivour....weed eaters are wimpy ) anyway...I love pasta dishes....had to stop eating spagetti....pizza and anything with red sauce....that would just kill me....I'm alot better..still taking Prilosec twice daily....that's been a god send for me.... breakfast used to be cerial's and other types of traditional breakfasts....had to stop drinking orange juice.......anything with citric acid.... Christine- Yeah that is exactly the best way to describe it morning sickness! Yuck! LOL I am doing so much better. My Dr is very picky as to what goes in to supplements so I go with his orders he has is own line and he works with Metagenics. The enzymes are Metagenics brand and I paid 25.00 for a 2 month supply not too bad. Thank you so much for telling me about the enzymes I was beginning to think I was turning into a snake. That's how full and sick I would feel after a meal and it wouldn't be a big meal. Michele- Yes you can take probiotics with them I do. Have a great day guys!!!! xoxoxoxox
